Last month I thanked everyone for their support during the recent Pie Drive and now I would like to let you know how the funds will be spent. We had a generous donation from a sister of a former Resident we have have put the two sums together to purchase an electric bed. Murravale very much depends on donations from families,the community, local Service Clubs and staff to raise funds for extra comforts and needs.
SO THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR YOUR SUPPORT.
My community thanks this month goes to our Ambulance Officers for their support when we have anincident requiring their attendance. Their promptness, friendly support and reassurance for the Residents make these moments less frightening for them, and the Murrurundi Lions Club for their donation towards skylights in the corridors of the front building.
Christmas will soon be upon us and Residents families will be asked to let us know if they have plans to take their loved ones away during this period.
Christmas Raffle.
We will be having a Christmas Hamper Raffle, tickets will be available from the Newsagency, and at Murravale from 14th December. Any donations will be gratefully accepted.
Staff.
We are saying good-bye to two of our staff, Virginia who has worked at Murravale for 10 years, and as a volunteer for 4 years is off to Victoria to live.
Jeanette is leaving after 6 years firstly as School Based Trainee and is now a fully qualified Care employee, is off to work at Emirates Park.
We wish both girls good luck in their new ventures.

We have not been out for our BBQ as the weather has not been very good, but we will get out soon.
The Residents meetings are beconducted by Nat Doonan, these meetings give the Residents the opportunity to raise issues, talk about their care or changes they would like with an independant person who then raises the matters with the Manager.
Staff do not attend these meeting unless a question needs an immeadiate answer.

Residents.
This month some of our Residents who are unable to go on the long day trips were taken for a drive around Murravale and district.
This is to be a monthly venture and it makes a nice change for these Residents, the bus was provided by the Royal Hotel.
The August outing was to Aberdeen, lunch at the Bowling Club and home via Middlebrook.
The outing for September will be a BBQ at a venue to be decided.
Staff.
We welcome Kimberley to the staff at Murrvale, she will be doing her Certificate 111 in Aged Care Traineeship with us.

Residents.
The Residents and Staff have enjoyed a Christmas in July and felicity had organised pink and green tablecloths, place cards, ballons, party hats and lollies.
The Residents enjoyed a 3 course meal of: Prawn Cocktail, Turkey with Gravy and vegetables followed by Christmas pudding and Custard.
Jeannie was in charge of the meal and all the staff chipped in and assisted with the day.
A part of our activities program the Residents enjoy musical afternoons and quizzes, if you can help out by playing the piano it would be greatly appreciated.
During August our Residents will be travelling to Aberdeen for a tour and lunch.

Staff.
Felicity and Naomi have attended a Laughter Boss workshop in Tamworth, this is being presented by the Clown Doctors that are seen on television.
We appreciate and thank the members of the community who give us assistance, this month Dean sharpened our knives.

Residents.
Not a lot of news this month as the weather has prevented our Residents from getting out and about but they do make the most of the sun when it is shining.
Over the last few months we have been refurbishing rooms as they become vacant or taking the opportunity to move a Resident to a vacant room so we can refurbish their room.
The rooms are looking good and the Residents are happy with the changes.
Two new Residents have joined us from Quirindi and we farewelled one Resident to Scone and in the last month welcomed a new Respite client.
The black rabbit is getting much tamer and will now let people pat it, there are also a couple of young rabbits hopping around the front area. They all seem to be enjoying their visit to Murravale.
CAPS.
Karyn found the course in Sydney very interesting and helpful and if you have questions about Community Care Packages please give her a ring at Murravaleon 65466668.
Christmas in July.
We look forward to celebrating "Christmas in July" this month and Gai has already made our pudding. many thanks Gai.

Residents.
We have purchased a new Television for the facility which has been placed on the wall in the activities room and the Residents will benefit from having a larger screen in a good position when they are doing their excercises and other activities.
There has been a new handrail built along the pathway to the top gate so that the residents are safer when taking their daily along the "garden path". This rail was one of the updates to the grounds that money raised at the fete was earmarked for.
15 Residents and staff travelled to Willow Tree recently for lunch at the Gateway Coffee Shop and all enjoyed the meal. Thank you to the Royal hotel for lending us their bus.
Staff.
During June we will be celebrating with 4 staff who have each achieved 10 years of service at Murravale and we thank them for their dedication to their positions and their care of the Residents.
CACPS.
Karyn has accepted the position of CACPS Co-ordinator at Murravale and will travel to Sydney in June and July to attend a Community Care Managers and will be available to speak to members of the community wanting to know more about care in their homes.
Respite Care.
If you require a break from your caring duties or have to go away we offer respite care here at Murravale and all that is required is that person requiring the care has been assessed by the ACAT team. The team assess people for respite, community and permanent care. Please ring me if you want further information.

Residents.
As this item was prepared for the Links, the Residents were preparing for Easter. Our Residents will enjoy Hot Cross Buns on Good Friday and the Easter Bunny will find them on Easter Sunday.
There is a lovely black rabbit visiting the grounds and the Residents are enjoying watching it hop around.
I hope everyone has had a lovely Easter break and hopefully many of you were able to catch up with families and friends.
Equipment.
Congratulations to staff members who have gained their Cerificates. Educatuion is an important part of staff programme, as well as attending courses Staff Trainers come Murravale and we have access to the Aged Care Channel to download training programmes for the staff.
A Mother's Day Raffle run by the staff will be held this year to raise funds. Thank you to everyone who supports the raffles held throughout the year.
Website.
We have had an unfortunate attack on our Website and we were down for a few days, we apologise to anyone who looked and found something we had no control over. We are running again and all is OK.

Residents and Activities.
Our Residents had a lovely time in the lead up to Christmas with their outing to the Durham Hotel at Wingen.
Santa was unable to make it to but we had some wonderful substiutes. Justin Mitchell and Rachel Brown and gave the residents and staff their presents.
Staff presents were from "Secret Santa" and some staff guessed correctly who their "Secret Santa"was.
The Residents who did not go for Christmas Day had a wonderful day and one Resident had some family members along for lunch.
Thank you to all the staff members who helped make the Christmas period a happy time for the Residents.
Gai Casey made the Christmas pudding for the residents and we thank Gai for her donations of cakes and puddings throughout the year.
General.
We did not hold a Christmas raffle as we had held our very successful fete in November.
Plans are underway to hold a Valentines Day raffle.

Residents and Activities.
The fete proved very popular even though it rained, we raised $1400 to go towards improvements for the Residents leisure activities.
We had a Millers fashion parade, Chocolate wheel, craft stalls, jewellery stall, BBQ, face painting, raffle, 100 club, tea/coffee and cold drinks.
Thank you to all staff, Board members, residents and community folk who assisted on the day.
A Big thanks goes to Felicity and Jennifer who organized it all.
Felicity is organizing a day out at the Durham Hotel Wingen for the 15th December.
A Christmas lunch will be held on the 22nd December, Santa may even be able to make a visit, and for those who are unable to go to family on Christmas Day there will also be a special lunch.
Staff.
There have been students from Scone High School doing work experience with us recently and the Residents enjoy having them about. We have both school and TAFE students training here.

The outdoor Activities have begun to be planned now the weather is warming up.
The residents are still enjoying many indoor activities and have been listening to old Australian Bush Songs.

Staff and Training.
The staff have loved the compliments given over the new uniforms, it does look good with the bright colours and each staff group in a different colour.
Felicity has been on annual leave and Naomi has been looking after activities in her absence, Sally who is doing work experience has also helped, another student from Muswellbrook TAFE will be here during October.
Respite.
Bookings for Respite are picking up again, so if you know any Community member requiring Respit, contact us so we can ensure that all paperwork is in place.

Residents and Activities.
Our Residents have had enough of the cold weather and now enjoying the warmer weather, for how long we not sure.
During the month some of the Residents were visited by a Government sponsored Dental clinic which was a great help for some of them.
Staff and Training.
We now have a new RN as Pam has retired and we wish her and Doug good health and mony happy hours spoiling grandchildren.
Scott has joined our staff as the new RN and we welcome him to Murravale.
Our staff are now wearing new uniforms with names on the shirts in place of name badges which were getting in the way of caring for Residents.
In case you haven't seen the colours they are White for Kitchen, Fuschia for care and Cherry for office. Alan has elected to remain in Khaki though he was seen in bright yellow fluro jacket the other day.
Mini Fete Saturday 6th November 2010.
Mini Fete will be held in November with a fashion parade, stalls, bbq and chocolate wheel, more information during October.

It has been a bit cool for outdoor activities, but they still like to have a door open into their rooms.
"Christmas in July" was held towards the end of the month and the residents enjoyed the lovely meal prepared by Jeannie and her staff as well as volunteers.
Thanks to Gai Casey who made the Christmas Pudding.
Felicity and Ailsa decorated the dining room and even a colourful curtain for the Residents to enter through was done.

We have two offers for volunteer work, one for the gardens and one for activities,more help is needed so don't be shy.

Our Residents along with a couple of family members travelled to Aberdeen in June and everyone reported they had enjoyed their meal at the Bowling Club Chinese Restraurant.
We are staying at Murravale this month and having "Christmas in July" on the 21st.
Are you bored and looking for something to do? Come and volunteer, spending some time with the Residents as our Activities Officer would appreciate some assistance during activities time, Or maybe you love gardening and would like to help in the grounds. No matter much or little time you can donate tour assistance would be appreciated.

Respite Care.
A reminder that if you that if you know someone who is a Carer and is need of a break that Murravale offers Respite Care for the they are looking after. Residents and Activities.
Our Residents have had a quite month as far as Outings are go but they are continuing with their excercise and music programmes. they also have Bingo, word games and craft activities.
These craft activities are a result of the materials purchased from the proceeds of the Christmas Raffle run by the Activiries Officier.
The Red Cross ladies have some new volunteers and are now able to come twice a month to continue hand and nail care.
During June the Residents are travelling to Aberdeen to have lunch and we will have "Christmas in July" towards the end of the month.
Gai Casey has the made the Pudding and it is now in the cool room maturing for the day. Thank you Gai.
Betty Gimbert donated a "Vera Lynn" CD and Nicole donated a CD?DVD set of other war time songs. The Residents can noe enjoy a a good sing a long with the songs.
Fundraising.
Unfortunately I was not able to attend the Trivia night but I have heard it was a great night and enjoyed by all.

Residents and Activities.
Some residents are joining in a game of Scrabble with the son of a former Resident and we appreciate the time he gives.
Accreditation.
The Aged Care Standards and Accreditation Agency have been during the last month and we are pleased to say we passed all the expected outcomes.
Staff and Training.
Our Activities Officer has returned from the "Music for the Mind" training and have enjoyed a great sing-a-long. We are looking for CD's that have old time songs on them. She will also attende a "Leisure and Lifestyle" program and will be putting these skills into practice.
The girls doing Certificate courses through our training company will be do face to face training which will benefit the staff.
Fundraising.
On Saturday May 22 The Board is organising a Trivia night at the Bowling Club, tables of 8 or if you need a spot on a table contact Barbara on 65466668 to compete. It will be a fun night.
Respite and Care in the Home.
Murravale has one room available for Respite Care, bookings are essential, contact Barbara for details.

Residents and Activities.
Some Residents travelled to Muswellbrook for the seniors Concert and a good time was had by all who attended. Others are partcipating in the Seniors Week bus trip to Gundy.
Our Activities officer held a silent auction for the Residents (bidding was done with Monopoly money for an unknown prize), a great time was had by all.
Our Handyman/Gardener revealed a new skill of Auctioneer.
Our Activities Officier has attended a "Music of the Mind" workshop, from this activities based on music will happen.
Accreditation Audits.
The NSW Food Authority attended recently and and audit of the Kitchen revealed a "A" Audit and will mean our next audit is in 12 months.
The Head of Kitchen and her staff can be proud of the excellent work they do.
The Murrurundi Retirement Homes Association Inc fund raising committee is organising a fund raising event shortly, so keep an eye out and attend if you can.
General.

Residents and Activities.
The Residents enjoyed a visit to the Bowling Club for lunch and our thanks go to Jason and Connie for looking after them with food and drinks.
Some of our Residents are off to Muswellbrook on the 15th of March to attend the Seniors concert and Luncheon.
We will hire a bus from Transcare and Alan will drive and assist Staff as required.
The Activiries officer is oranising activities for Murravale during Seniors Week.
Staff.
Two staff members travelled to Gwandalan for a wound care course and another member is off to the University for a Pain Management Course.
Education is very important part of our Staff welfare, and it is hoped that future courses are made available closer to Murrurundi.
A First Aid course will be held at Murravale on 16th of October 2010, we are taking bookings.
Accreditation.
The Community Aged Care Packages (CACPS) programme had a visit from the accreditation team on the 16th of February and we are pleased to report that we passed.
Do remember that if you know someone who is not coping at home, give us a ring as they may require some assistance that we can provide.

Doctor.
Dr Younes Ismail has commenced working from the CTC centre and will be a regular visitor to Murravale.
Residents and Activities.
The Residents have been enjoying both the cricket an tennis during January, the activities room is cooler for them.
Some Residents were able to go home over Christmas to family or at least out for the day, those who stayed had a wonderful celebration here.
Thank you to all the staff that made it a special day.
Felicity organised activities to celebrate Australia Daywith quizzes and a BBQ lunch.

Residents and Activities
The Residents had their Christmas Party on the 16th of December and Santa's Helper Alan was in attendance to give the Residents their gifts.
The day was organised by Felicity with help from other staff especially Lil, Jenny and Jeannein the kitchen.
Staff swapped their secret Santa presents after they had lunch.
A very successful Christmas raffle was held and out thanks go to the Business Houses, Community members, Residents families and Staff for their wonderful contributionsand ticket purchases to make this raffle such a success.

Yvonne has donated the iced Christmas cake from the raffle to the Residents and the toys to the 2NM toy appeal.
The girls are preparing for the the residents who unfortunately while not be able to be with family or friends, Gai Casey has again made the Christmas pudding as she did last year and Gai was asked to do so again this year. Thank you very much Gai.

Residents and Activities.
Alan has the garden beds underway and we are grateful to BUNNINGS @ TAMWORTH for their assistance and donation towards the purchase of the timber.
During October we have had two students from Muswellbrook TAFE doing work experience with us as part of their Certificate 111 in Aged Care, during November we will be hosting students from Quirindi TAFE.
The residents tell us that they enjoyhaving the students here and are happy for us to continue to offer them the chance for the face to face work.
We recently had some generous people making lovely donations to Murravale and this is most appreciated.
Chris Holden who runs HANDCRAFTED PORCEIAN DOLLS has given us three beautifully restored doll for Residents whose Dementia has taken them back to the time they enjoyed having a doll.
Elaine Cook has made crocheted rugs for the residents and they are just the thing for the cooler evenings or laid on the Residents beds for a little bit of extra warmth.
Christmas is getting closer and the Residents will start to make decorations and cards to send to their families.
Melbourne Cup day will mean a function and it will depend on the weather as to where it will be.
MURRAVALE INSPECTIONS.
Murravale had an unannouced visit from the Standards and Accreditation Agency and an audit from the NSW food Authority.
Both visits returned a pass mark. You either receive a pass or fail at these inspections.

Residents and Activities.
Our Residents travelled to Wallabadah for our recent day out but as the weather was not so nice we toured the area and returned to Murravale for our BBQ lunch.
Sadly, the Members of the Uniting Church will not be holding services each month as their Minister has been transferred and are unable to conduct services.
Alan has purchased the timber for the new garden beds and hopes to start work this month. Several offers have been made to assist in the building.

Congratulations to Amanda and Craig on their recent wedding, Amanda is member of our Kitchen Team.
Welcome to Kayla our new Trainee Care Worker we hope she enjoys her work with us.
Staff are commencing revision for their Certificate 111 in Aged Care and others are signing up for other courses.

Residents and Activities.
The Residents travelled to The Heritage Centre at Quirindi for their August outing and all reported that they had a good day.
Our Activities officer has been busy on the phone organizing the September outing but nothing is confirmed.
Several new Residents have moved in in recent weeks and a big welcome is extended to all.
Staff and Training.
A number of staff have completed traing in various aspects of care and have received their Cerificates with several more due soon.
Planning for 2010 Education is in the planning stage.

Residents and Activities.
Our christmas in July Lunch was well received by the Residents and our Activities Officer had the dining room beautifully decorated and the Residents enjoyed a wonderful meal prepared by the kitchen staff.
The raffle has been run to purchase the materials for raised gardens and was won by Dale Flanagan (who donated the prize to Murravale) & 2nd prize was won by Jean Fraser.
Murravale said goodbye to a long term staff member this month, Pat has been on staff for 15years, and has decided to retire and behalf of the Board, Staff and Residents wish her well.
The Murratones ( Murrurundi Choir) visited in July to entertain the Residents, they had some guests with them.
The Secret Women's Dance Group showed the Residents their belly dancing skills, the Residents loved it but no-one volunteered to joined them. Do you have a group that would like to to come to Murravale.
Blandford School children vivsited in July and the focus was on the Residents early life. What toys they had, how they entertained themselves and how much change they have seen in their lifetime. We all should be asking our parents these questions and recording them for future memories.

Residents and Activities.
The Residents went for lunch at the Chinese Restaurant at the Bowling club on the 26th of June and an enjoyable lunch was had by all.
We will be having a Christmas in July luncheon later this month.
Another new Resident has joined us in June.
The activities being done by the Residents are word games, bingo, chair exercises, bigo and and gentle games.
Alan is looking at building raised gardens so that the Residents can enjoy some gardening, if anyone can assist in this project please contact Alan at Murravale.

Accreditation.
A big thank you to Staff, Residents and Family members who were interviewed as part of the process that ensured our Accreditation until July 2012.
Residents and Activities.
Everyone enjoyed the outing to Timor and Wingen, Thank You to John Hill for the excellent morning tea.
Residents have been entertained by Helen Horton and Fay Grey from Singleton with music and singing.
We have two volunteers who are bringing their dogs for a visit to the Residents for Pet Therapy.
Staff and Training.
Staff have recently had training in a variety of fields, Dementia,Fire Safety, Residents Rights, Medication and staff who have been studying for the Certificate IV in aged Care have successfully completed the course.
We have person gaining experience in Activities Programmes

Accreditation.
Murravale has been able to continue it's accreditatio for a further 3 years after the visit from the Accreditation tteam passing all 44 areas of examination.
Residents and Activities.
The easter raffle was drawn and all 9 prizeshave been collocted, Thank you to people who donated prizes anf bought tickets.
Eleven residents and three staff travelled to the homr of John Hill at "Lurgashall" at timor for morning tea and on to Wingen for lunch. We are fortunate that we can hire a bus from Transcare with a lifter to aid those residents with walkers.
Anzac Day was remembered at Murravale by the Residents with a Minutes Silence being observed.

Residents Outings and Activities.
Our Residents enjoyed a trip to Muswellbrook Workers Club for a Seniors Concert and Lucheon.
Seven Residents travelled to Nundle to the Trout Farm for a late breakfast while others will attending St Pauls for a Church Service and luncheon on Friday.
The Community and Residents will be attending a BBQ and concert on Saturday.
The Residents will be celebrating St Patricks day with a themed menu.
There is an Easter raffle with 3 prizes being sold at the front sign in table.
Red Creoss ladies come fortnightly for Nail Care and Zina from the Library comes up once a month for a reading.

STAFF.
Chloe has now statred her Maternity leave and her baby is due late in March.
Jenny has now joined our staff and will work in both the Kitchen and on the Care Team as she has her Certificate 3 in Aged Care.
Karen has also joined the Kitchen team and also has her Aged Care Certificate
ACCREDITATION
Murravale will have a site Audit on Tuesday 21st and Wednesday22nd of April by the The Aged Care Standards and Accreditation Agency Ltd, to approve our operating licence for a period of Three years. We must meet all 44 standards.
The families of Residents have chance to talk to the teamif they so wish, a separate letter will be sent to all families.

Residents January Outing.
Due to the extreme haet the outing was cancelled and a BBQ was held at Murravale.
The February outing was to the ROYAL HOTEL MURRURUNDI, a marvellous meal was put on by for Residents and staff who attended. A BIG thanks to Glen and Michelle.
SENIOR CITIZENS WEEK.
On Monday 9th of March some of the Residents are attending the Senior Citizens Concert at Muswellbrook.
On Wednesday the 18th of March the Residents are going to the Trout Hatcheries at Nundle for a Breakfast and visit to the Hatcheries, a good day was had by all.
On Friday the 20th of March the Anglican Parish of Murrurundi is holding a Seniors Week Service followed by a luncheon and some of the residents are attending.
On Saturday the 21st of March there will be a concert at Murravale with "Backtracking" of Quirindi attending.
All Residents and Families are welcome to attend. a light luncheon of Hamburger and Tea/coffee and then afternoon tea will be served.
It will commence at 12 noonand finish about 3pm, the cost is $5.

Some of our Residents spent Christmas Day with family at home. They all reported a good day was had.
A number of new residents have joined us and we welcome them.
4th December 2008.
Residents Christmas Party.
The Residents will have their Christmas party on the 17th December 2008, and then those Residents that have family nearby ans can go home will do so. For those who cannot go home we hope they will have a wonderful Christmas day.
Carols by Candlelight.
This will be held on the 7th of December at 7pm, Murrurundi Lions are organizing the night. The residents are looking forward to this night. Everyone is welcome to attend.
November outing.
The Novemner outing was to the Chinese Restaurant, a big thanks to Jason for the great job with the meals.
Work Experience Trainees.
Two girls from Quirindi TAFE are working to gain experience during November, they have also worked at Quirindi and Werris Creek.
Enclosing with Gauze of verandah.
The verandah on the newer building is to be enclosed, this will allow residents to sit out on it and also allow a breezeway to be created. This has been made possible by a donation from a former resident's family.

Residents Outing.
The Residents travelled to Lake Glenbawn last week for a picnic and a game of croquet, it was a very overcast and a strong wind was blowing so not many residents got out of the bus.
Lunch was moved to Elizabeth Park at Scone, thank you to the staff who went and assisted the Residents.
Residents Facilities.
A Croquet set has been designed and made by our Gardener/Handyman so that it can be used both in and outdoors.
New Residents.
Three new ladies have already joined the other Residents at Murravale and a man will move in shortly.
Residents Care.
Red Cross ladies visit regularly to do Nail Care and have a chat.
One of our Residents has a family member that enjoys playing the piano and when she is visiting, the Residents enjoy sitting and listening to the joyous sounds.
As the weather warms up it is possible for the Residents to move outdoors and enjoy the many spots about the building.

Resident Outings.
The Residents had their September outing to the Royal Hotel Murrurundi and the October outing will be to Glenbawn Dam.
Staff Training
Two staff members have attended Diversional Therapy Days focusing on Documentation and Activities.
Students from the TAFE are doing their Work Experience at Murravale as part of theit Cerificate 111 in Aged Care. They are buddied with a Care Staff member and work with during the shift.
Donations.
We have recently had a wheelchair, electric bed and care comfort chair donated by Residents families and we are very grateful for these donations.
Prevoius donations have included electric beds, recliner rockers, pictures and outdoor seating.
Church Services.
It is wonderful to see members of the Community attending our regular Church services and the Residents enjoy having visitore around.

The Board has pleasure in announcing that two new members have joined the Board.
Mrs Michelle Cooper, well known teacher from Blandford Public School, and Mrs Annelle MacLennan, host of the Valley View Motel.
Staff Training.
A Number of our staff have been attending training courses over recent times to further their ability to provide quality care to all residents.

We have purchased two new pieces of equipment and it is a shock when you see how much these necessary items cost. The patient lifter was $5395.00 and the shower chair $799.00.
Murravle Aged care Facility was one of the recepients of donations from Murrurundi Rotary Club and the Back to Murrurundi Committee and we are very grateful for their support of our organisations.
Murruvale Retirement Homes association Inc is an endorsed Detuctible Gift Recipient with the Australian Taxation Office and therefore gifts, donations and bequests can be issued with an offial receipt for taxation purposes.
It is our plan to refurbish rooms when we have vacancies. Rooms that require painting will be done and we looking at a mixture of tiles and vinyl or carpet for the floors.
Food Authrity and Aged Care Standards.
We have had an audit from from the NSW Food Authrity and recently had an unannouced support visit from Aged Care Standards and Accreditation and we are pleased to say that we have been succesful on both occasions. The NSW food Authority has given our facility an "A" rating.

Residents.
Our Residents are taking part in Seniors Week activities and have attended the luncheon at the Durham Hotel at Wingen and then a tour of Wingen and Cressfield Stud.Felicity and Alan were the staff who attended.
Thank you to Howard's Bus Service for the bus and John from the Durham who acted as tour guide.
Nine Residents attended the function at the White Hart Hotel on Wednesday and thank you to the White hart for sending their bus to collect the Residents. Felicity and Suz were the staff who attended.
Various displays were available for information for the care of the Aged, Murravale had a pamphlet on displayed.
The Murratones are coming to sing for the Residents on Wednesday and the children from Blandford School will be coming during April.
Catholic Church holds a service at Murravale but as this service falls during Holy Week and all services during that week are held at the Church.
Anglican services will be held at Murravale as normal.
February 5 2011.
Residents.
Our residents had an outing to the Royal Hotel for lunch, Felicity, Megan and Sue went with them, the staff members take it in turns to go with Felicity on these outings. A very enjoyable meal was had by all.
Four Residents went to the CTC centre for a scrap booking class and at least one wants to go again.
Felicity and Barbara attended a meeting to discuss Activities for Senoirs Week.
